The idea behind Lodestone Leashes was created in 2023. From that initial concept, the design has gone through several different developments, focusing on keeping the leash lightweight, but also strong enough to withstand 'normal' paddleboarding. 

 

We have ensured rigourous scientific testing has been carried out, developing different leash adaptors depending on the paddlers' style, enabling safe paddling for those who enjoy grade 1/2 to those who need something a bit more chunkier for white water rapids.

 

We are committed to ensuring safer paddlesports, and have won several rounds of funding to make this idea a reality.
